whenever i loose someone too early... i always become even more thankful, than i already strive to be.  so, please know just how much your words and prayers mean to my family and i!!!  Thanks You.  death also has a way of reminding me, just how precious new life is too.  It's something to be celebrated especially for old friends, that maybe you're not able to see as much as you'd like too. 

so,during this past week... i decided to make an old high school bestie a quilt for her newest baby.  though, i wish we would have stayed in better contact through the years, considering the amount of time we spent together causing mischief as teenagers, we both ended up traveling down similar, but different geographical paths.  her's ending up in Los Angeles and mine, in Portland.  i hope she loves what i made for her family!  :D
