really...???

sigh... i felt so much better yesterday. That i sewed a little zippy bag and three sachet bags ( waiting on my lavender supplies to arrive! ) for a friend's Christmas gift and now i feel like sore poop again!

but, what's an addict like myself supposed to do?? It's the holidays damn it and i really want to sew! GGGggrRRrr... i guess it's back to the couch and handwork again ( at least for one more day )... bleh...

and thanks so much for all your well wishes here, texts, FB, and through email! They really brightened up my day... YOU all really are soOOOooo sweet too me!!
Xo, Heather

  3. Take it easy! Maybe some hand stitching? Those bags are adorable, by the way. I am trying to master the patience to do some hexies. So far I've had very limited success. Seriously, though, you've had a pretty major surgery. Cut yourself some slack!!

  4. I know it is hard to see that sewing machine beckoning and not sew but give yourself time to heal so that there won't be a relapse right at Christmas. Take good care of yourself. Sandra

  5. Do take it easy! The pouch is very cute, but not worth the poop feeling is it?!

  6. I can't imagine not being able to sew! But.....sit and do some handwork....otherwise it will take longer to recuperate! Btw the hexies are lovely!!

  10. Such a cute set...she will be thrilled. Sewing seems like a pretty easy and non stressful thing to do...how hard is it, huh? BUT, all that bending over the machine, getting up and down etc. are more work than we think! Hope you feel better soon. Better give it another week before more machine time...sigh.

  12. Be careful not to overdo! After my surgery, I would feel good one day and do too much so that I felt bad again for a couple of days and do nothing. Be patient and take care of yourself! Sending you get well wishes!
