Epic Baloney!

Complete hogwash, really. I’ve been experiencing this biz for about 2 months now… and I’m just now fully pissed. I can’t leave a comment on anyone’s blog! Blogger claims to not be “able to allow me”. What in the double hockey stick does that mean?? I’ve been anonymously attempting to give blog love forever, but am utterly getting sunk by the blogs that don’t have that option. UUugggGGG!!

I’ll be sitting in a tattoo chair for almost 7 hours today, so if you have any helpful information to this issue… I would be more than available and appreciative of your input!

Thanks kids!!!
Xo, Heather

  2. I was having issues to, It's fixed now I think but the only thing I did different was a recomendation from a fellow blogger.

When you sign in to blogger do not click the keep me signed in button and sign in everytime you log into blogger. It worked for me. Hope it gets fixed I know how painful it is I couln't comments for over a month until I asked the readers :)

  4. I am occasionally having the same problem with Blogger. Sorry to hear it is constant for you.

As for the tattoo chair...well let's just say that I used to work in a nursing home. I'll just assume you know where that conversation goes. I will also be kind enough to leave it at that!! LOL!!! Have a great day!

  5. Bring snacks and drink lots of water! Plan on a nap later- all that work takes a lot out of you! Right when you think you can't take the buzz of the gun anymore, they'll stop. Can't wait to se the pictures!

  7. I think I read that if you UNcheck the box that keeps you signed into blogger it fixes the problem. Good luck.

  8. I had this same problem... the solution is to uncheck the box that says "keep me logged in"...

I know it is a pain, but once you do this it works...

Google is aware of the problem and of course "trying to resolve it"

    Good Luck!!

  9. Helpful, not so much, but I know that some of my followers are having the same issue you're experiencing.

Hope we get to see pics of the colored tat! The outline looked gorgeous.

  10. I don't know anything about computer issues; I can't comment on most sites because I don't understand how to unless I can use the "name/url" designation. I even signed up for gmail thinking that would get me into the ones that said google ID or google account, but no such luck.

I can assure however, that you DO definitely still exist! We all still see you, and love your blog so you're only invisible to the computer gremlins. Good luck today - that's a lot of hours, brave lady!

  11. I had the same problem a while back. And as others already suggested, unchecking the "keep me signed in" box seemed to fix the problem.

  12. You need to enable third-party cookies in your browser. Google recently changed Blogger security and this is the result. Read how to do that for whatever browser you are using here.

  13. I had this problem too when I updated Internet Explorer. I switched to google chrome and now have no problems. Hope this helps :-)

  14. I also switched to Google Chrome and don't have any problems anymore. I heard Firefox works too. And my techy friends have been telling me that Internet Explorer is the worst for threats and viruses, so switching is a good idea anyways.

  15. I had this problem for a while too...make sure your computer is set up to accepting cookies and that may help.

  16. I see that Reene@Nellie's Niceties already suggested Chrome. It's a great alternative to IE, I use it 98% of the time. Also, many bloggers, myself included, don't like anonymous comments - they sometimes cause problems and are frequently not nice. Say it and own it.

  17. If your problem is with typepad or wordpress, the easiest solution is to sign up for one of their accounts; then commenting is is breeze.

  18. with blogger...you might need to uncheck the stay signed in box when you log on...that worked for me!

  19. First, log out of your blogger account. Then log back in, except this time "uncheck" the box that says "stayed logged in". You should now be able to make posts.

  20. What works for me is signing out of blogger then control F5 before logging in again - not sure why it works, but it does!

  21. I have the same problem but it works if you do what Terri describes. You'll just need to resign in next time

  22. Heppened to me for a while and I sooo hated it! I couldn't comment on my own blog either.

I did discover at some point, after tring basicly everything, that I can comment when the comment form is on a different page [not under the post].

The good thing is that one day it came back just like that. Hope that day will come soon to you too :)

  23. unchecking the "keep me logged in" box fixed my problem. I get on at work sometimes and I guess it doesnt like being logged on more than once.

  24. Hi there! Been a stalker for a while now but never commented HAHA! LOVE your playlist and keep in on while I working in my studio a lot. Can't wait to see what your 7 hours brings :)

  25. I had the same problem a while back but I switched to firefox and have had no problems since. Hope you get it sorted. :)

  26. happens to me all the time. The only fix was signing out and deleting my cache and cookies and then logging back in w/o the box to remember me checked. Then it worked. But I have to log in everytime or it goes back to crazy. I'm totally sick of it too.

  27. I have the SAME problem and it doesn't matter if I unclick the box on google or not.

  28. What I find frustrating is that SOME blog allow me to comment and they have all my information already, others (that I have been commenting on forever) all of a sudden don't allow me to comment, want me to log in (hello! I am logged in!) and don't even give the anonymous identity choice. Sooo frustrating.

  29. I was having that problem too, dont tick the keep signed in box, I read it somewhere when I was trouble shooting. I can leave comments again now. Try and see if it works for you :)

  30. so sorry to hear about the blogging problem...hope it gets resolved!

  31. I agree with all the advice above. I had horrid problems trying to comment. Just make sure to sign in every time, and there's no more issues. Annoying, but not as annoying as typing a comment only to find you're "not allowed" to post it!

  32. Well, it looks like others have suggested what I do -- I use Firefox. It bugs the snot out of me, too, because I use IE for everything else! Blogger - FIX IT already!! We shouldn't have to go about all this hoo-hah to leave a nice comment!

Thanks for raising this - I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with the problem. :-/

  33. Agree with several who have said, "uncheck" the keep me signed in box when you log in. That did it for me. I was so frustrated with that endless loop I was stuck in, I was happy when someone posted this hint.

  34. Ugh same here! Hopefully these recommendations work for the both of us!

  35. can't wait to see the tattoo...will you be sharing?

  36. I love Google but I hate Blogger, that's why I opted for Wordpress. More options, better backgrounds & design, IMHO.

  37. Can't wait to see your tatoo. I am wanting a 2nd one. My first is a small gecko on a toe. It's little and really cute. I am ready for the BIG GIRL tatoo now. Just have to find a spot of skin that looks good.
    LOL

  38. I have been having problems, too. Thought it was just me! Wasn't able to enter any giveaways or anything! I will try this one now, after reading all the suggestions. Thanks.
