another week...

another start to a quilt! LOL this one has been a long time coming for sheba ( in want and in time ) :P postage stamp quilts are one of my all time favorites, since they have that lovely simple/ yet sophisticated effect when finished!!! sigh... i'm really going to love him.

sending out much love to my friend Elizabeth and her generous spirit with her friends... without all her lovely fabric gifts she bestows on us... this quilt would be lacking in contrast for sure! xoxoxo

i have a sneaking suspicion... this is going to be a really good week!
xo, Heather

  7. In 1999 I exchanged, every month for the year, with some other girls and we were to end up with 2000 squares in 2000. I made 2 twin quilt tops and then had to rest. The rest of the pile is still zipped up in a bag. I think I might need to dig it out. What is your size??

  12. Postage stamp blocks are on my list for the week...I had commission embroideries today (BOOO!!!!), but they help pay the bills and the rest of this week has me and my sewing machine spending some quilty, quality time together.

  13. What a wonderful choice of fabrics in this quilt. I really like that scrappy look in a monochromatic colour scheme. It just makes the quilt sing.
