ReplyDeleteI would HAVE TO fussy cut some of this yummy fabric - I think I might use those cuts as centers of stars for a really bright, fun quilt for my daughter's wall. Then I would share some of the fabric with you - because you are nice enough to share it with us! I have to tell you that I was lucky enough a few years ago to win the first Material Obsession book from Sarah herself. I saved the paper she wrapped it in - it had her handwriting on it!! I felt silly doing it at the time - kind of star struck - but now I'm glad I did!! I can take a picture and send it to you if you'd like LOL!

ReplyDeleteSo... what would I do with this fabric? Hrmm... good question.... I think a throw blanket and matching pillows would bring some life into my living room for the spring.
Last summer I looked high and low for a lavendar dot fabric. Then I saw Sarah's announcement, and have been waiting patiently (or not) since! I might have to just roll in them, pet them, or I guess cut them up and put them in the quilt I am making from Material Obsession right now (Maple Leaf Rag I think is the name)...doesn't her fabric deserve that?

Let's be Completely Honest... I'd sit and stare at those gorgeous fabrics for a good long while. Pet them like a little kitty cat. Then ask them what they'd like to grow up to be. : )
