the Essential Tote!... and a give-a-way!!

okay... so first let me say one word to you... F U N! making this bag was just straight up fun!! Mr. Charlie & Mrs. Lindsay of Hawthorne Threads asked me to product test one of their newest store treats... hence the Liberty Arts ( ready to go ) kits to make bags ( they have many more options to choose from too!!) and i'm quite sure by now, you have figured out that firstly... i like bags! haha... and secondly... i lOVE big bags! so this kit was perfect for me and i was more than happy to help them out to acquire one!! ;) The sweet little kit comes just as you see it here! but, word to the wise... you will need to purchase 7/8th Yard of fusible fleece and have a couple special tools ( IE: a water soluble pen & the correct size button maker )

the bag turned out to be HUGE and the directions were painless... in the spirit of not wasting your time or money... i'll say this... FOLLOW the directions... they're were so many times i thought... why not skip ahead to finish off a certain piece, but there really is a rhyme to their reasons! if you truly follow the directions... this will be great bag for beginners to get their feet wet with! :)

i had so much fun with the first one... i even made another in my favorite colors!!

i just don't know if a girl can have too many bags??!! right??!! well... if you'd like your shot at winning one of these cuties... hop over to Hawthorne Threads!! they will be having a fantastic give-a-way with these adorable kits!

XO, Heather

  2. Great bags, I like them. And good directions are so nice... I've made bags with bad directions and it was awful! The aqua/orange one is great.
