Good Bye Kate & Nova... Welcome...

well... i must admit that those comments left... were by far the funniest comments i have heard in a long time... question: the first thing that comes to your mind about Australia??? answers: Duff said, "Australia? Ha! the first thing to come to my mind was Hugh Jackman half naked and sweaty" Barb said... "Watch me Wallabies feed, mate, watch my wallabies feed. Look they're a dangerous breed, mate, so watch me wallabies feed." Carla said... I thought: Material Obsession! How sick is that? Not even kangaroos!! jane said... I think of Finding Nemo: P. Sherman 42 Wallaby Way Sydney? I'll say it again... Kelly O. said... hmmm... Australia? Is it true that their toilets flush the opposite way to ours? queenbee said... Rumpus room. guess who has just arrived..??? it's Miss Laurie Wisbrun the fabulous creator of { Tufted Tweets, Modern Whimsy, Urban Circus, & Donkeys and Wellies }... and yes, i had to sit down when i received her RSVP saying she was bringing a FQ set of her entire newly released " Tufted Tweets " and a FQ set of her " Donkey and Wellie " collections for two of my lucky party peeps!

Now to some serious news!! Laurie is retiring Urban Circus in the color stories (Sherbet and Grass) from her Etsy store. These patterns ( in these colors ) will NO LONGER be available after 6/27 and are on sale for 15% off!!! Several of her Urban Circus designs have been picked up by Robert Kaufman in new color stories (yipeee!) and will be available at local quilt stores in August. Stock up on these patterns in Sherbet and Grass now since this is your last chance!! ;) Also... her Tufted Tweets line is currently back ordered!! this means... that if you haven't bought your fill... you better get your bootie movin, cause it will be a long time until fabric retailers will have her entire collection again!!   6. I think I would love to see all kinds of animals in Wellies . . . but perhaps sheep since the Brits kind of got the whole wellie thing off the ground. Hippos would be also fun in boots. Oh how I love that donkey print and just can't bring myself to cut into it!

    BTW a rumpus room is quite separate and different to a living room (family room/loungeroom), a rumpus room is like a games/recreation room, where you would put a pool (billiards/snooker) table, or the kids toys and games, etc.

  126. I think it would be funny to see havalinas in wellies. These stinky little guys hide out in the wash near one of my running spots and it'd be really funny to see them pop out of the bushes that way (instead of freaking me out like they do now)!
