Good Bye Amber, Katy & Jenni... Welcome...

fantastic, fantastic, fantastic summer ideas for my family!!! you all have really given me lots of wonderful ideas that are sooo gonna save my bacon when i hear, " Mom... i am soooo bored.... there's nothing to do " ;) i am giddy with anticipation now, knowing i have an arsenal of projects in my back pocket! LOL i'm pretty sure a few others will be having very clever summer projects as well with these prises!! My favourite summer read is the Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery. Set in Paris it has a philosophical edge to it and is a wonderful read.

This summer I think I'm gonna read that Potato Gurnsey that is supposed to be so good....I gave it to my Mom for her BD & she loved it. Other than that I have "O Pioneer" still waiting on my bookshelf. These days mostly I read mags & blogs :)

Fun!! Love reading in the hammock. Doesn't really matter what I am reading (a fun vampire series or a cheesy romance or something deep that makes you think)... right now I just finished the "book of negroes". Totally deep and amazing book, so next will be something light and airy.

I'm currently reading book 2 of Stieg Larsson's trio of thrillers. Having finished the first, The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, in the spring, I would highly recommend it. And so far, the second is just as good!
